So, I know I haven't updated this in a while, but I do have good reasoning for this.
One, I recently moved out of England to Arkham to start university there, so there was the mammoth task of moving all my belongings from one country to another and getting a plane ticket there and yada, yada, yada.
Two, my roommate has turned up, well, dead. This farmer found his body strung up in a tree near Penrith and he alerted the police and all of that. He had been missing for a while, but I, foolishly, thought he was just off somewhere, like the one time he jetted of to India to achieve enlightenment, taking most of my money with him to get a plane ticket over there. He thought it was a quick and instant process, but he got tired of it a after a month, and hopped a seven foot fence and walked back to the airport.
So, here's to you, Neil. Shine on, you crazy diamond.
But, this does mark a new start for me. I'm currently in a hotel on the outskirts of town.
Here's to a great year.

Fucking Programmers, man.
Fucking programmers, man. See, while I don't mean to diss all programmers out there, the guys (yes, they're all guys, go figure) learning IT here continually blast techno music in the little sixth form block the school has reserved for us. It also means that none of the shitheads from the lower years can't get in. See, near the end of primary school, around mid 2007, me, and a few other guys discovered Machinima. More specifically, Freeman's Mind. I think in episode 2, he hears some programmers blasting techno music very loudly and makes a whole speech about 'GETTING SOME GIRLS IN CAGES IN HERE, WHY DON'T YOU? GOOD LORD!'
Needless to say, many a laughs were had then. We were all going to be programmers when we were older, and as a reference to Freeman's Mind, we'd blast techno music in our rooms when we finally did.
Funny how much seven years can change something like that. We drifted apart, with me instead pursuing music instead of programming. I did become a persona non grata over there after I pulled the fuses from the power box, because they were playing dub step instead of techno. Techno, I can stomach.
Dubstep? Oh ho, fuck no.
I should mention I was slightly, slightly tipsy at the time.
I've only encountered them once or twice since the 'fuse box incident of '14' and each time they took the piss out of me. I couldn't care, really. I'm not much of a sociable kind of guy. Anyway, I sometimes had loudness wars with them too. Fun times. Usually some artist I'd never heard of vs. Pink Floyd. I always lost except for once, when I had the common sense to play something off 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness' (I think it was Tales from a Scorched Earth, though it might have been X.Y.U. Can't remember.)
My roommate hasn't come back home in a couple of days now. Maybe I should phone the police.
Bastard didn't contribute to the rent.

I think my insomnia's surfacing again. Fuck. It's been with me now for over two years now.
Half a year ago, I thought I got it sorted, went to see my GP (general practitioner) and I tried to explain the shit I was seeing, small hallucinations, not fucking with my perception of reality or anything like that, but I remember having a hallucination about the Protagonist of Persona 3 summoning Orpheus on my maths class table. Weird, I know.
I swear to god the fucking bastard was going to say that I should go to a testicular cancer meeting in the church across the way, but he didn't, funny enough, considering he's something of a pop cultured guy, and he prescribed me some pills, I forget the name but the key thing is that babies didn't sleep as good as I did. Now... not so much. It's currently 23:01 (that's 24 hour clock and in GMT) and I've been restless. Thank fuck my roommate ain't here.
See you around,

Updates
So, you may be wondering why I have two blogs now. Well, Just a Blog, for some reason, I couldn't write on it whenever I tried to. Oh well. Didn't like the name anyway. It was just something I came up with on the spot, but now I've had all day to think about it, and 'Permanent Daylight' seemed to be a good fit. So, yeah, nothing new.
Bigger update soon, it's just been an uneventful day.

Introduction
Howdy.
So. This is a first for me, writing a blog. I really don't have anything to say, really. I lead a normal life as a secondary school (that's middle and high school rolled into one, btw. It's about as fun as you can imagine) and nothing really happens to me.
Well, I live in North West England and it's an alright place, really. Clean air, low crime rate pretty cool place. Yes, I suppose this blog proves that not all of England is London, contrary to what fiction may have you believe. And no, I'm not a posh tosser for anyone who may be wondering.
Erm, sorry about that.
I'm a pretty big music nerd, recently music has become a bigger part of my life as I'm sure it does in teenage years. As you can tell from my profile image, I'm a Pink Floyd fan. Echoes is my favourite song of all time, it's 23 minutes of pure prog rock and is even more amazing when synced up to the 'Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite' section of 2001: A Space Odyssey, however, my favourite album of all time is probably 'Electric Ladyland' by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Probably. I'm not going to bore you with music stuff, whoever might read this blog.
Anyway, I'll sign off. Until next time folks.
